Cake and Pastry Order Policy

Due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, GhilaDolci Bakery requires a 50% non-refundable deposit (or paid in full depending on time of inquiry) to lock in your desired event date. Any pending inquiries are not considered secure until a deposit is placed, reserving your party's date. If you pay in full, you are considered eligible for a partial refund 10 days prior to your event date. NO changes or alterations to your order can be made 10 days before your event

For all custom cakes, we require at least 10 day’s notice (but cannot guarantee availability).

Pick Up:

Please prepare your vehicle so it is clean and free of items that could roll or slide into the cake/pastries (a flat surface in an SUV is recommended). GhilaDolci Bakery will NOT be responsible should anything happen after the customer leaves the bakery. We do everything in our power to provide well-structured cakes, but please note that cakes are very fragile and if not handled properly, damages can include, but are not limited to - cracks, smudges, and melted frosting.  Drive carefully and slowly! We advise turning the AC on high during the warmer months of the year for ease of transportation, and placing your cake directly into the refrigerator once you have arrived at your destination. If you have pastries to pick up, we will advise you on which items are best refrigerated or left at room temperature.  

Storage & Serving:

Our cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature, however we advise keeping your cake in the refrigerator until a couple hours before serving to ensure the integrity of the cake. Any cake placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat, so be extra cautious when serving at an outdoor party.
